Shipping Policy

Our shipping process is designed to bring you unique products from around the world. Please read the following policy carefully to understand how your order is processed and delivered.

 

1. Order Processing Time

 

All orders are sent to our international suppliers for processing immediately after the order is placed.

  • Processing Time: It typically takes 1–3 business days to verify the order, perform quality checks, and package your items.

  • Fulfillment Model: Please note that we utilize a third-party dropshipping model. This means that your product is shipped directly from our international partner warehouses to your door.

 

2. Estimated Shipping Times

 

Once your order has been processed, delivery times are as follows. These times are estimates only and do not include the 1–3 day processing time.

Please Note: Delivery times may be extended during peak seasons (e.g., holidays) or due to unexpected customs delays.

 

3. Order Tracking

 

You will receive a shipping confirmation email, typically within 3–5 business days of your purchase. This email will contain a tracking number and a link to track your order's journey.

  • Tracking information may take up to 48 hours to update after the initial tracking number is sent.

 

4. Customs, Duties & Taxes

 

This section is paramount for compliance and preventing surprise fees. The rules vary depending on your shipping destination.

 

A. For European Union (EU) Customers:

 

We aim to make the customs process seamless. As a responsible e-commerce seller, we are or will be registered under the Import One-Stop Shop (IOSS) scheme.

  • VAT (Value Added Tax): The total price you paid at checkout already includes the VAT for your order. You should not be charged any additional VAT or tax fees upon delivery.

  • Customs Fees: If your order value is under €150, no customs duties should be applied, as the VAT has been paid.

  • If you are incorrectly charged VAT/Duties upon arrival, please contact us immediately at info@dutchfellas.com with proof of payment, and we will assist in resolving the issue.

 

B. For United States (US) and Other International Customers:

 

  • Customs: All items shipped internationally may be subject to customs clearance procedures, which can cause delays beyond the original delivery estimates.

  • Duties & Import Fees: Dutchfellas is not responsible for any duties, tariffs, or import taxes applied to your order by the destination country's customs authority. These charges are the responsibility of the customer and will not be refunded by Dutchfellas.

 

5. Lost, Stolen, or Delayed Packages

 

  • Stolen Packages: If tracking shows the package was delivered but you have not received it, you must contact your local carrier within 48 hours to file a claim. We highly recommend using a shipping address that is secure.

  • Delays: While we strive for timely delivery, we are not liable for any delays caused by the courier or unpredictable external factors (such as customs or adverse weather events).
