Refund Policy

1. Nature of Our Products

Dutchfellas sells digital content, including but not limited to STL files, 3D print files, model bundles, and other downloadable craft assets. Because these products are delivered instantly and cannot be “returned” in the same way as physical goods, refund handling for digital files is different from physical-product stores.

2. General Refund Rule

Due to the nature of downloadable digital products, all sales are generally final. Once a digital file has been delivered or download access has been granted, we do not normally offer refunds, returns, or exchanges.

Please read all product details carefully before purchasing, including the file type, product description, print notes, and license terms.

3. EU Right of Withdrawal for Digital Content

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance purchases. However, for digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, that withdrawal right can end once delivery starts, provided that:

• you expressly consent to immediate delivery, and
• you acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once delivery begins.

By purchasing and completing checkout for a Dutchfellas digital product where this consent is requested, you agree to immediate delivery of the digital content and acknowledge that your statutory right of withdrawal ends once delivery has started.

4. Cases Where We May Help or Offer a Remedy

Although refunds are generally not available for digital products, we want purchases to work properly. If there is a genuine issue, please contact us at info@dutchfellas.com. Depending on the situation, we may offer support, a replacement file, or another reasonable solution.

We may review requests in cases such as:

• the file is corrupted or cannot be opened;
• the wrong file was delivered;
• the download is incomplete due to a delivery error on our side;
• the product is materially different from the listing description.

5. Cases Where Refunds Will Not Be Granted

Refunds will generally not be granted for reasons including, but not limited to:

• you changed your mind after purchase;
• you expected a physical product instead of a digital file;
• you do not know how to use STL files, slicer software, or 3D printers;
• your printer settings, material choice, support settings, scaling, or slicing choices caused print issues;
• you purchased the file by mistake but already received download access;
• you no longer need the file or found an alternative elsewhere.

6. Printing Responsibility

3D printing results depend on many factors outside our control, including printer calibration, nozzle size, material, slicer settings, scaling, orientation, support generation, and user experience. Unless a listing expressly guarantees specific print behavior, Dutchfellas cannot be responsible for failed prints caused by machine setup or user-side print decisions.

7. License and File Use

Your purchase gives you a license to use the file under the terms stated in the product listing and store terms. It does not transfer ownership of the design itself. Refund requests based on dissatisfaction with license restrictions, resale restrictions, or commercial-use limitations will not be accepted where those terms were stated before purchase.
